This is really cool! The weird twisted perspective. Doesn't seem it could be right.
I don't think Bullitt stopped that many times in the chase:) Scofflaw!

Yes, the perspective comes from being rather high up, then shooting out and across the seriously-inclined street we came up on with the 200mm lens. Thus the slope up is gone, although that would have been good to capture if the foreground had allowed it, since you'd get both the steep rise in the front and the steep rise in the back. Ah, San Francisco!

I recognize those streets anywhere.

Agreement! Plus we got there before all the tourists (besides ourselves) and had perfect weather. But I needed another week at least ...

Brilliant. In the books they tell that telelenses flatten things, but you've turned that handicap into a great picture!

Thanks for the comment and the fav! That has been part of my attempt in the Geometry series to think in two dimensions ... but I can't say I had the full idea before I started reviewing the results.

You're welcome! :) Hehe, it happens to me. I take a picture, and only later on I notice something that makes it worthwhile. But even if we don't see it, I believe we still see it somehow ;)

Featured in my journal [link] . :)

Thanks a lot! I have to try one of these when I have the chance.
